Dr. Jenny Lam is a Podiatrist with Bay Area Foot Care.

Dr. Jenny Lam was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. She attended the University of California, Irvine and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. To pursue her dreams, she moved to the Bay Area and received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, CA. Dr. Lam completed her 3-year Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, CA, where she gained extensive experience in trauma, sports medicine, and wound care. Her training included work at Level-1 trauma centers such as Highland Hospital and San Francisco General Hospital, exposing her to complex pathology and advanced surgical cases.

Due to her interest in sports medicine, Dr. Lam pursued additional training through the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS)-approved SSC Sports Medicine Fellowship in Irvine, CA. She was one of only ten fellows selected across California, and during the year she assisted in over 400 surgical procedures and treated a high volume of athletes and active patients.

Dr. Lam believes in educating her patients and involving them in the healing process to support a safe and timely return to activity. Her collaborative approach fosters self-empowerment and reduces the risk of future injuries. While she treats a full spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, her passion lies in sports medicine, trauma, and elective procedures such as bunion and hammertoe surgery.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Lam enjoys exploring local restaurants and traveling with her family. She is also passionate about art, working with a variety of media. To stay active, she hikes, plays basketball, does high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and spins. Dr. Lam treats her patients as she would treat her family and is honored to support their care.
